Why is nutrition important?
Diet and nutrition have a profound influence on our daily lives. Our fast food culture has robbed us of our daily nourishment in many ways. If you think of food as energy it may help you understand the critical role it plays in our health and well being.
Everything we put into our bodies works with other energetic influences such as emotional and physical occurrences. Together these factors have an effect on the balance of our bodies, or homeostasis. Good nutrition must encompass not only the fruits and vegetables in nutrition but the quality of all ingredients and even the manner in which we eat.
Remember, food is the fuel that helps run our bodies. Bad food choices will make our engines run poorly like putting bad gas in your car.
