Emily believes massage therapy is an important component to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and is looking forward to working with patients to help navigate how massage can best fit into their wellness routine. With having a strong foundation in Swedish and Myofascial massage, as well as being certified in prenatal and postnatal massage, hot stone massage, and Thai reflexology, Emily is passionate about working with patients to build a customized massage session that allows each person to reach their optimal health potential.
Emily obtained her Bachelors of Arts from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado, and then attended Body Therapy Institute for massage in Silk Hope, North Carolina. She has been a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist in North Carolina since 2011 and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
Emily and her husband, Zach, are new parents to their wonderful son, Cole, born June 17, 2015. She is excited to introduce her son to some of her passions that include exploring the mountains, cooking and raising positive awareness of Pit Bulls in the Raleigh area.
